Nettle fiber is a bast fiber and acts like a "natural air conditioner". This means that it provides cooling in summer and warmth in winter. We use nettle fiber for our bags because it is particularly sustainable: It uses little water in production, is free of harmful substances and is completely biodegradable.
When processed into bags, nettle fiber is particularly robust, tear-resistant, breathable and absorbent.
